AGB Inc. was founded in 2023 by some of Australia's most experienced and dedicated miniature goat breeders. A co-operative of like-minded stud owners committed to best practice, herd improvement and ultimately breeding to purebred status. A breed association where serious breeders can register animal pedigrees, show animals, access learning and evaulation programs. Where we can mentor and support each other, as well as the next generation of breeders.

MINIATURE GOAT BREEDS
We currently represent four goat breeds. The Australian Miniature and Nigerian Dwarf miniature goat breeds both at a mature phase. AGB Inc is working toward a purebred registry for these breeds by 2026. The Pygmy Goat is our other main miniature breed which has really taken off in Australia with greater access to DNA verified genetics, and high quality stock becoming more readily available. We also have the Mini Nubian - a mid-size dairy breed in development.
SHOWS AND EVENTS
This Association was started by show exhibitors from across South Eastern Australia. Shows form a major part of our philosphy of learning and herd improvement. We plan to expand our shows and events, provide 24 hour milk tests at our two-day shows, annual breed specials, international judges and other training and learning opportunities. We hope to add shows and events that are accessible for all our Premium Breeder members.

PREMIUM BREEDERS
What is a Premium Breeder? We are invested in an agricultural business breeding goats, we are part of the Livestock Assurance Prorgram, we herd test annually, we DNA parent verify, we show and constantly evaluate our animals, we are interested in learning how to improve our stock and husbandry practices.
Buyers can rest assured that our certified premium breeders are actual breeders with years of experience who are striving for excellence in their chosen breed. If this sounds like you, or where you would like to be, get in touch to find out more!
If you are just starting out, our Premium Breeders offer a mentoring program to their customers. Your mentor will work with you through husbandry and bio-security, along with breeding, kidding, registering and showing. Of course we will be offering educational videos on many of these topics in our members area. Our Mentored Breeders become the Premium Breeders of the future.
